</script>Replace YOUR_SITE_KEY with the key shown in your website's Installation tab. The key is public by design — it only identifies your website.
Any HTML website
- Open the HTML template or footer include used by every page.
- Paste the snippet just before the closing </body> tag.
- Deploy, then open your site and move your mouse for a few seconds.
WordPress
- In wp-admin, go to Appearance → Theme File Editor and open footer.php (or use a header & footer scripts plugin).
- Paste the snippet before </body> and save.
- Clear any caching plugin so the new footer is served.
Shopify
- Go to Online Store → Themes → … → Edit code.
- Open layout/theme.liquid and paste the snippet before </body>.
- Save. Checkout pages on Shopify's domain are not tracked unless that domain is added to your website settings.
Webflow
- Open Site settings → Custom code.
- Paste the snippet into Footer code.
- Save and publish your site.
Next.js
- Add the script to your root layout (app/layout.tsx) so it loads on every route, e.g. with next/script and strategy="afterInteractive" plus the data-site-id attribute.
- Client-side navigation is detected automatically — no extra code needed.
- Deploy and visit your production domain.
Google Tag Manager
- Create a new Custom HTML tag and paste the snippet.
- Trigger it on All Pages.
- Publish the container.
